Hi Elfen

> So now I'm starting to feel like (Java Swing Eclipse) is ahead of Mono, in terms of Mac OS X support - especially in terms of the GUI support? Especially based on that Apple doc ( http://developer.apple.com/mac/library/documentation/Java/Conceptual/Java14Development/00-Intro/JavaDevelopment.html#//apple_ref/doc/uid/TP40001911 ). Then again, it sounds like Swing might be old...

Take a careful look at the Apple docs about Java UI design; it might be easier than .NET/Mono but, there are still implicit problems that Apple point out. And, as I mentioned earlier, you also have to consider details like the ordering of buttons, as well as having to devolve down to the lowest common denominator of UI controls because not all controls are available on all platforms.
