I installed too new a Mono version for an application I need to use. I am on Mac OS X 10.4.11. I discovered that the older Mono version I actually needed was too smart to install over a newer version. Good planning.

I looked for the uninstallMono.sh script mentioned in the installer screens for 2.4.7. It is not visible on the disk image. There is only the .pkg file and a Notes.rtf. I did not find the script on my disk after the install with either the find command or the finder search.

Please install your uninstaller script when you install the package.
