[Mono-osx] Systematic crash on launch of WinForm app

I'm on Leopard and running with a PPC

I had the same problem, and also this problem: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=373291

So I guess I need to update my Mono version (I use the stable one http://www.go-mono.com/mono-downloads/download.html 
  )

What would be the best way to use the latest SVN of Mono on Mac OS X?
Compile from source (if yes, where can I get instructions?)? Get it  
from Macports? Other place to download a SVN binary?
