[Mono-osx] Basic Mono Tests under MacOS X 10.4.11 PPC

I just checked on a newer Intel machine, also running MacOS X  
10.4.11. The problem exists there as well. Moreover, it concerns not  
only the simple example program, but real ones as well. For example,  
the MoMA application in the Mono distribution doesn't work either, it  
hangs without opening any window. I find it hard to believe that I am  
the only one to observe this behaviour (on all the three machines  
that I use).
