[Mono-osx] problem wih System.Security.Cryptography

I am trying to run a website using mono for the first time on OS X. The site
is using .net 2.0 and is running fine on a windows setup. 
 
I get the following error when trying to run it: 


Missing Exponent 
 
Description: Error processing request. 
 
Error Message: HTTP 500.
System.Security.Cryptography.CryptographicException: Missing Exponent 
 
Stack Trace:

As a newbie I am not sure what other info is needed. I am running leopard on
an intel mac with MonoFramework-1.2.6_4.macos10.novell.universal installed.
