[Mono-osx] Mono-Dev fails to launch OS X 10.4.11

I've just finished DL'ing the Framework and the dev kit, but when I launch
Mono-Develop it appears in the Dock, but nothing more.  There is no menu
bar, nada.  System logs show nothing, and when I right click the icon in the
Dock, it tells the application is not responding.  This is on an iMac G5,
2.1 Ghz PPC, 1.5 gig Ram.

Any thoughts?
