[Mono-osx] Mono on Leopard

I distribute some open source, cross-platform CLI tools built with Mono, and
a number of users of these tools have already upgraded to Leopard and have
reported to me that they aren't working on Leopard. I haven't upgraded to
Leopard yet personally, but from what I understand the "Mono 1.2.5.1_0
Framework - Universal" at http://www.mono-project.com/Downloads is
incompatible with Leopard. Is that correct? I came across some
Leopard-compatibility patches that Geoff posted on his blog recently. I
assume those patches have been committed to SVN, but I can't exactly expect
my users to build their own Mono from SVN. Any chance we could get an
"interim" or "test" release that incorporates these Leopard-compatibility
patches into a nice, user-friendly installer? (I'm not immediately concerned
about whether Cocoa# and/or Winforms work correctly on Leopard as my tools
are CLI only.) Back during the early days of the PPC->Intel transition, there
was an interim Intel-only Mono installer. Something like that to hold over
the Leopard masses until the next full-fledged Mono release with Leopard
compatibility would be lovely. Alternatively, any idea when the next Mono
release might be?
Thanks,
Ed
