So Miguel, and Wade. Why not turn it on? It seems that the Imeem guys  
see no problems with this flag turned on out in the field. Also it  
seems that you are just letting the OS handle memory management as it  
should, i.e. released memory actually freed up rather than cached per  
application.

I think the mono environment is remarkably stable, but, although we  
can build the sources and set the flag, this is a deal-breaker for  
many commercial applications.

On the subject of downloads, how do I use svn to get the sources for  
1.2.2.1, which i presume is the latest stable release.
