'how' as in the mechanism, not the language, which doesn't matter.
Does it work using a odbc driver? Would it work using libiodbc?

As detailed in the bug reporting help, if to reproduce a bug tools or
programs outside of mono are needed, you should mention them in the bug
report, including all the information about installation etc.
You already have all this info, I'd have to spend hours to get it,
especially for niche setups.
So until all the info is there, I'll let someone else look at the bug
report.
