Seems to be particular to the ppc version. x86 also has libexpat.0.4,
but mono does not complain about it when loading libgdiplus.dylib. So
a rebuild of libgdiplus.dylib is likely to fix the problem.

I am dead in the water without this on ppc. I abandoned working on
the x86 platform because of other packages having build issues with
it. I do not have time to fix them. I tried reverting to 1.13, but
the installer would not install, instead at the final Install button
press it said there was nothing to install. This after running the
uninstall script.

My particular error:

Mono-INFO: DllImport error loading library 'dlopen(/Library/
Frameworks/Mono.framework/Versions/, 9):
Library not loaded: /usr/X11R6/lib/libexpat.1.dylib
   Referenced from: /Library/Frameworks/Mono.framework/Versions/
Reason: Incompatible library version: libgdiplus.dylib requires
version 1.0.0 or later, but libexpat.1.dylib provides version 0.4.0'.

This was the closest I ever came, done by making a copy of 0.4.
Didn't fool the loader though.

Any ideas on when it might get fixed? Could I get notified at my
reply-to address on this problem specifically?
