[Mono-osx] problems installing mono...

In the mini guide to install mono on Mac OSX one of the steps
described is the use of fink to install gnome...
I'm tryin to selfupdate fink to cvs but it sends me the message:

cvs [update aborted]: connect to
cvs.sourceforge.net(66.35.250.207):2401 failed: Operation timed out
### execution of /usr/bin/su failed, exit code 1
Failed: Updating using CVS failed. Check the error messages above.



I've been tryin many other times with the same result.
Can somebody help me???
