[Mono-osx] Basic Mono Question

Thanks very much Miguel & Grant, that's a lot of food for thought.

I have mono running now, I can run and compile csharp code. What's 
more, I have now managed to get xsp working and I have successfully run 
and viewed the demo files that come with it. So far so very good.

However, as predicted by Grant I have failed to get mod_mono working so 
far. Is there any way at all to get that going on osx or is it 
currently officially hopeless? Alternatively, if mod_mono can't be made 
to run, is there a way to configure xsp to run automatically in the 
background and answer all asp.net requests? While I appreciate it's not 
a production level server, it ought to do for testing and home coding.
