[Mono-osx] Running wx.NET samples

I'm not sure if this is a Mono issue or a wx.NET issue, but I thought I'd ask 
to make sure. When I try to run wx.NET 0.7.1 ( http://wxnet.sourceforge.net/ 
) samples on OSX 10.4 with Mono 1.1.8.1, it takes about 8 minutes to start 
each sample. Other Mono programs start in several seconds. The samples start much 
quicker when ilrun is used, but once fully visible, the programs don't 
respond to input. Is it just some problem on my end? Any suggestions?
