[Mono-osx] Font Configuration Error

Mono installed from: MonoFramework-1.1.6-4.dmg

I get this error in the console whenever I try to run a macpacked 
application with text: Mono System.Windows.Forms Assembly [Revision: 
41731; built: 2005/2/15 5:56:12]
Fontconfig error: Cannot load default config file

Can someone point me to the configuration file/environment variable 
that needs to be modified?
