Subject: Nails in the coffin...

I don't particularly like children. I can  stand well behaved ones for short  periods of time, but I have absolutely no desire to have one of  my own  that I need to be around *and*  take care of 24/7.
And yes, there are plenty of things in life  that are not easy or fun a lot of the time (like  obtaining an education),  but  then there is a payoff that motivates the struggle (career goals,  money).  With children I  just don't see what the benefits  would be.
