[Mono-list] Port Mono to a new OS

Dear all,
I am a newbie to Mono. And for now, I want to port Mono to a new Operating System other than the supported OS. The hardware platform is ARM. During the configuration phase, I cross-compile Mono source code, and an error came up, saying my platform is not supported. So, could anyone please tell how to port Mono to a new os, and which part of source code I need to modify? Thanks a lot.
