It shows to me as an executable, mmh_ccx2vtk.exe
Noone should just run an exe file from the internet...
Please can you upload a zip file or tar.gz file with the source code?

The Xamarin Mono packages are not built for CentOS6.
One option would be to use CentOS7 instead.
If you cannot switch to CentOS7, you can use my Mono packages built for CentOS6:
They are basically the same as the official packages in Fedora, but
built for CentOS 6 and CentOS7.
