[Mono-list] Which Mono package is for Slackware?

You can try this 
http://slackbuilds.org/repository/14.1/development/monodevelop/ the big 
issue with Slackware is the lack of Gnome which Monodevelop has 
historically used very heavily. This can cause a large amount of missing 
dependency issues.
