[Mono-list] Mono for Embedded Development

Hi,

I have a C# .NET background with also exposure to Linux/Unix environments. I
already did some development with Mono on Linux and Mac. My questions: 
- Is Mono ready for production level implementations on (embedded) Linux
environments (for IoT/M2M siolutions)?
- I mentioned the latest Mono version is only available for OpenSuse, will
it also become available on other Linux implementations (Debian based,
CentOS)?
