[Mono-list] minimum requirements to compile mono

Hi,

I'm trying to compile mono 2.10 on a old linux (RedHat 9.0 from 2003) and
I'm getting some compile errors, like G_MAXINT32 undeclared or undefined
reference to g_strv_length.

I can't install mono 3 either, since this linux version lacks of support
for recursive mutexes - PTHREAD_MUTEX_RECURSIVE (the error is thrown on
./configure)

So my question is what's the minimum version of glib and glibc required to
build mono?

Theres' also a minimum required kernel version?
