Miguel demo'd Roslyn running atop Mono/OS X at //build yesterday. I don't think it will be too difficult to "port".

I _suspect_ -- but do not _know_ -- that Roslyn will _not_ be part of the Mono git repo. (Why should it be? It can remain an independent repo, just as e.g. cecil, ikvm, and rx are.)

Contributions to Mono _itself_ will require copyright assignment, but I rather doubt that contributions to Roslyn will be considered as contributions "to mono".
