[Mono-list] cannot install 2.10 on centos 6

Followed the instructions in the readme and here:
http://mono-project.com/Compiling_Mono_From_Git .

Running make fails with mcs error that it needs some things.  Tried running
the make with: make get-monolite-latest and the website times out.

Connecting to mono.ximian.com|130.57.21.44|:80... failed: Connection timed
out.

Found another link in the documentation to a tarball, but again the ximian
site times out.  Cannot find any other location on the web for this file. 
Is the site down temporarily or permanently?  Where else can I find the
needed files in order to compile?

I appreciate any assistance.
