[Mono-list] Accessing extension methods via embedded API

I am trying to access a simple extension method in an embedded mono project.

I load a mono exe into an embedded domain and the exe main function console
output confirms that a given extension method is available on class A at
runtime.

However trying to call the same extension method via the embedded API fails.

When I iterate over the class methods for a MonoObject handle to A using
mono_class_get_methods the extension is not found. Static class methods are
listed.

How do I call the extension method via the embedded API?
