[Mono-list] Creating a standalone Mono executable?

Github does offer binary downloads, but I think you need to enable it for
the repository. They're not as strict as Sourceforge (they'd let you host
binaries even if you don't host all the source code). However Sourceforge
has more mirrors and I've found their download servers to be much quicker.

It's up to you. I think Sourceforge supports Git and Mercurial now so you
can get use either one for Git.
