[Mono-list] Installing mono for Linux

Hello,

I have installed mono for Linux on my computer, because it is a prerequisite
to the installation of another software. I have done a mono-complete install
from the linux download manager, and even after restarted my computer the
software installer says : mono is not installed ! I have also installed
libmono-winforms because it is required for the software to work. What could
be wrong ?
