[Mono-list] Stable mono version

Hi,I don't understand which version of mono is stable and which version is
tagged as beta version. I think that branch 2.10.* is stable and version
3.0.* is unstable version. But I am confused statement on page  release
notes

There is a mention about support of mono 2.1.* *"We will continue to bug fix
and update Mono 2.10 for another six months for users that can not upgrade
to Mono 3.0."*.  On mono source code page is newest file mono-3.0.7.tar.bz2
from date 15-Mar-2013. But latest version of mono 2.10 is from date
07-Feb-2012. I will work on project which must be based on mono 3.0.* (MVC4
application), so I would like to know I can use 3.0.* without occurs major
bugs.I found on forum this reply : "2.10.11 is the latest stable release.
The 3.x series is currently in beta but will hopefully become stable in the
next few weeks. "  (Feb 20, 2013)Thank you for answers.
