[Mono-list] Mono, do NOT run after Microsoft !!

I don't understand this logic. Microsoft keep innovating and adding new
features, and that's a reason for developers to doubt them? This is one of
my favourite things about the .NET Framework. It moves so quickly and
awesome stuff comes with every new release.

Do you want .NET to end up like Java, where new features take years and
years to implement?

I think MySpace was a good example of the scalability of a Windows
platform. Their CPU usage dropped considerably when switching the existing
codebase from ColdFusion to BlueDragon (an implementation of ColdFusion on
the .NET runtime), and even more when they switched to C#.

I recommend that, mono should only implement  C# 2.0, and do a

Why? It's all the same runtime, just the compiler is different. In the end,
C# and VB.NET generate very very similar CIL output. Why arbitrarily
restrict it to just C#?
