[Mono-list] Proper way to reference assemblies?

Hi, I'm new to MonoDevelop and I like it a lot. Currently, I'm trying to work
with MonoDroid; anyhow, while coding; I've been trying to add extra .NET
libraries that were not included with my eval pack and other pre-made C#
classes to my mono solution. All of the .NET and C# classes appeared to
have been absorbed and consumed except for the a library written in VB.NET.
I keep on getting this error:

/Could not load assembly 'Microsoft.VisualBasic, Version=8.0.0.0,
Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a'./

I think I can understand why I get this error but anyhow, does anyone know
of tricks and tips on how to get around this? Is it even possible?

And what would be the proper steps to reference libraries?

Again, thanks.
