Actually, going back to bugzilla with a better idea of what to search
for, I think I'm probably seeing bug 7200:


It sounds like a match - HttpWebRequest timing out or returning the
wrong results when several requests are made concurrently to the same
server, and it was introduced in between 2.11.1 and 2.11.2. I'll try
building master to see if it works. Thanks for the help.
