In that case I would be happy to see a simple 'hello world' WPF running on Linux.

Do you have it ? 

Not too much work if you write it from scratch. 

Let me see the sources !

I think you're slightly wrong Gabriel.

Mono.Csharp doesn't depend on Mono, it runs well in .NET.

So then you can use whatever UI you want with it.
