[Mono-list] building mono 2.10.8 on mac os x 10.6.8

Hello,

Probably a naive beginners issue, but this is the first time I try to compile mono on mac.
At some point compilation fails with the following error:

MCS     [basic] sn.exe
warning CS8001: SDK path could not be resolved
sn.cs(21,12): error CS0657: `assembly' is not a valid attribute location for this declaration. Valid attribute locations for this declaration are `type'
Compilation failed: 1 error(s), 1 warnings

Any suggestion on what is going wrong?
