[Mono-list] question regarding method attributes mono vs C#

Dear All,

This my first email on this list and I'm very new at mono, so please
don't "kill" me if I ask something too obvious. :)

I use C# at my job to write selenium/webdriver tests. It looks like we
are going to change the selenium version from 1 to 2 (webdriver) and I
have to rewrite/refactor that part of the code which handles the
selenium/webdriver instances. We use attributes at every method to
define which method can use which browser and which environment. So I
have to read the attributes of every method. I would like to play with
it at next weekend (after a short search in Google I could say that
there is enough information to reach my goal because I'm well versed
java programmer who likes the challanges :) ) but I have only gentoo
linux at home so I can use only mono. To be honest, I don't want to
connect my station via rdp because not so comfortable for me.

Long story short, my question is that is there any differences between
mono and c# in this level? If I write a more-less simple code in mono
at home than could I use it on windows? I expect that there will be
small fixes, for example usings.

Thanks for any help in advance!

András
