If you have root it is well worth mounting some swap space as a loopback device
if you can, You won't get much built in 512mb
$ dd if=/dev/zero of=/root/swap bs=1M count=1024
$ mkswap /root/swap
$ swapon /root/swap
That works for me, you could probably even add /root/swap into your fstab if
you want swap all the time
