I was just thinking to define GC_INSIDE_DLL=1 for the build so the function
always returns 1. Of course it doesn't check if I happen to forgot to call
GC_new_thread() after thread creation, but in my case it's not really an
issue as the thread creation that may use Mono/GC is very localized. I think
for proper implementation you could use TLS variable and update it from
GC_new_thread() or something.
