Hello,
The mono analyzer is a good idea, but also have in mind that you have to double check if you are using unicode strings somewhere.
In this case you need to address the utf16 to utf32 conversion, when using native libraries (dll, so)

Potentially yes, but I would first scan the DLL using the MoMA tool (http://www.mono-project.com/MoMA), which will be able to confirm if everything this assembly does is currently supported by Mono.
