[Mono-list] Aquire Root Privileges

Hi Developers. 

Under Windows it's no problem to aquire Administrator privileges (Manifest,
Attributes,...). Is there a possibility to get root/sudo privileges under
Linux and Mac OS X? I want to deploy my application using macpack and
mkbundle. 

I don't want to force my users to start my application from the commandline
using sudo. Are there probably any tricks to start my application as root on
all systems?
