I missed this because our build agent tends not to synchronize output
to stdout and stderr very well. The line before the assert prints out
a message about the thunk pointers. Examples from some of my failing
test runs are:

This one is from the first sheevaplug:
thunk failed for 0x40368c80 from 0x4f2a20d8

These two both came from runs on the second sheevaplug:
thunk failed for 0x404ddc80 from 0x48997188
thunk failed for 0x404ddc80 from 0x4d01d198
