Thanks for your reply -- someone on the freeswitch list told me  that it
was a glibc bug -- I updated to 2.13-r4 and that fixed the problem --
now if I can only get the fs module to work -- it works with 2.8, but
not 2.10.  I will check the fs list and get back to you if I see
something.
