[Mono-list] Playing audio files

Hi, I wish to play audio files from my application running under Mono on
openSUSE 11.1. I have looked at the System.Media.SoundPlayer class but that
seems to be very limited in the file formats it supports. I have also
investigated using wrappers for other applications without success.

My requirements are very basic in that I just wish to be able to play/stop
the audio files and nothing more. I do not have a requirement to play any
video files.

Does anyone have any recommendations?
