[Mono-list] System.IO.Ports / Events

Hello,

I'm trying to use the System.IO.Ports.SerialPort in Mono.
In principle it is working (I can read data using blocking reading
functions).

Nevertheless, when I try to implement a clean solution with events, the
event handler is never called when data is received.

My question is, if the information regarding the implementation state of the
DataReceived-Event provided here
http://www.mono-project.com/HowToSystemIOPorts is still correct.

Everything I found about it was several months, or even years old. Are the
events still not implemented, or am I just doing something wrong?
