[Mono-list] Newbie question - porting app from Windows to Linux

My app uses a small config file.  When I run the app, I get this error:

System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not find file
"/home/me/.config\MSTS\main.xml".
File name: '/home/me/.config\MSTS\main.xml'

I used the file browser to navigate to /home/me/.config/ and created an MSTS
subfolder and copied my "main.xml" to it.  I can see the file is there...
any clue as to why the app can't see it?

Also is there any difference between using \ and / ?
