I've developed a Perl module that embeds the Mono runtime and
provides a dual bridge between Perl and Mono. We're using it
in-house since years, but it's still unreleased due to its
lack of docs.

If you like, I can send you a snapshot. It's licenses under
LGPL (the C XS module) and MIT (Perl & C# stuff).
