[Mono-list] Seeking advice on using monodevelop to learn CSharp

I don't know how to fix this. Maybe you didn't fully / properly update Mono,
when going from 1.9.1 to 2.4.2.3? Or you're missing one or more packages?
You'll need to get help from someone more experienced than me, or look
around the web for solutions.
