[Mono-list] Can't get Ahead-Of-Time compilation working

Thanks for trying to help Michael, but...the "as" assembler program? I'm
sorry but I've never heard of this. What is it / where can I find it? I've
found another thread where someone says that I need to download / install
mingw, but this seems strange as it's a compiler for native Windows?

Actually, let me ask another question first as this is a potential
showstopper: can I AOT my app for OSX execution?

Thank you,
-L
