[Mono-list] Mono 2.4.x on ARM (Qemu)

I am considering writing Mono code to run on an ARM based industrial computer, but I wan to build a Qemu environment first.
Too bad Suse doesn't have an ARM version, so I am looking for suggestions on which distribution would do.

Thank you for any advice, I have no experience in ARM...
