I guess this is the headache part you're refering to... hehe

I'm trying to configure, make and make file the libgdiplus-2.4 release.  

./configure
...
...
configure: error: *** libpng12 not found.


path info:
[root at localhost libgdiplus-2.4]# echo $PATH
/usr/kerberos/sbin:/usr/kerberos/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/home/jonjames/bin:/usr/lib

here's the file:

[root at localhost libgdiplus-2.4]# ls -l /usr/lib/libpng12*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root     18 May 14 07:54 /usr/lib/libpng12.so.0 ->
libpng12.so.0.10.0
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 152412 Feb 25 17:23 /usr/lib/libpng12.so.0.10.0

I even added the LD_LIBRARY_PATH value to the /usr/lib directory.

same error happens.  What am i doing wrong?
