[Mono-list] re d hat enterprise 5x and mono

Hi everyone,

I'm new to mono and somewhat new to linux.  Can anyone link or post info
about how mono rpms are created for Red Hat Enterprise 5.x?  I assume i grab
the source(s) from here, compile on Red Hat 5.3 into a RPM?

I have the opensuse.org link that had some RHEL compiled RPMs for Mono 1.9.1
but i'm looking to get something a little newer than that if possible.  

Any help, greatly appreciated. Looking to get started!
