[Mono-list] Build .sln from mono/monodevelop

Hi All,
 
I'm trying to build an entire solution (.sln)
 
So far I have done the following:
 
mdtool project-export ./Solution.sln
 
once done I expect to run:
 
mdtool build
 
However the project-export returns:
 
Unknown file format: /root/Xrio.Standalone/Standalone.sln
 
Any ideas anyone?  Maybe its the version of Visual Studio the .sln was created from?
