You really shouldn't be doing this sort of workaround though. It's good for quick and dirty testing, but for real apps that you plan on releasing, please read http://www.mono-project.com/FAQ:_Security and http://www.mono-project.com/UsingTrustedRootsRespectfully for information on how to properly handle certificate errors.
