[Mono-list] make of mono-2.4 fails with lots of errormessages

I don't see here what's wrong but usually compilation errors come from lack
of some library or system could have mono installed already (so that there
are conflicts)
1. See carefully ./configure and make's output 
2. Be sure to uninstall all mono related stuff from your system.
